Getting Started

CareerPal is an AI-powered career guidance platform built specifically for Indian students in Classes 9–12. It maps your stream, board scores, interests, and family budget to real career paths and colleges you can actually get into — giving you a personalised roadmap instead of generic advice.
CareerPal is built for Class 9 to 12 students across India, and their parents. Whether you're choosing a stream after Class 10, preparing for JEE/NEET, or exploring non-engineering careers — CareerPal helps you make confident, data-backed decisions.
Yes, CareerPal is free during the early access period. The core features — stream analyser, career match, college shortlist, and dashboard — are available at no cost. A Pro plan with deeper analysis, weekly action plans, and family budget tools is coming soon.
CareerPal is currently invite-only during early access. You can join the waitlist from our homepage. Already have an invite code? Sign in with your Google account and complete your profile to unlock your personalised career dashboard in minutes.

How It Works

CareerPal uses a multi-factor engine that looks at your chosen stream (Science/Commerce/Arts), current scores, interest areas (technology, business, healthcare, etc.), and realistic college budget. It cross-references these with real career outcome data for Indian students and generates a personalised career fit score for each path.
The Reality Check Score tells you how achievable a career path is given your current academic standing. It factors in typical cutoffs for that field, the effort required, and the investment vs. return over 5–10 years — so you can plan realistically, not just optimistically.
Absolutely. CareerPal covers over 200 career paths across all streams — including Design, Law, Chartered Accountancy, Commerce, Humanities, Government Services (UPSC/State PSC), Journalism, Sports Management, and many more. Not every path involves JEE or NEET.
Your college shortlist is built using your target career, your current scores, preferred states/cities, and your family's annual education budget. CareerPal filters by acceptance rate data and shows colleges where your profile is competitive — not just aspirational.

JEE, NEET & Exams

CareerPal is a career guidance platform, not a coaching or exam prep tool. It helps you decide whether JEE or NEET is the right path for you, set realistic targets based on your current scores, and understand what alternatives exist if competitive exam results don't go as planned.
That's exactly what CareerPal's Risk & Backup planning feature is for. It shows you strong alternative career paths in the same domain (e.g. B.Sc. Biotechnology instead of MBBS, or BCA/BSc CS instead of IIT), along with realistic salary and growth projections so you can pivot with confidence.
CareerPal covers all major Indian entrance exams: JEE Main & Advanced, NEET, CLAT, CUET, CA Foundation, NDA, NIFT, NID, CEED, IPMAT, LSAT India, and state-level engineering and medical entrance tests. Each career page shows the relevant exams, cutoffs, and timelines.

Privacy & Data

Yes. CareerPal collects only what is needed to personalise your career guidance (board, class, scores, interests). We do not sell your data, run ads, or share information with third parties. All data is stored securely with encryption in Bengaluru, India.
If you add a parent's email during onboarding, they can receive progress updates and view your dashboard summary. This is entirely optional and fully controlled from your profile settings. Parents cannot edit your profile without your permission.

Account & Support

Go to "My Profile" from the top-right menu. You can update your stream, current scores, interests, and family budget at any time. Your career matches and college shortlist will automatically refresh with the updated data.
Use the "Send a Message" button above or reach us at support@careerpal.com. Please describe the issue (e.g. wrong salary data for a career, incorrect cutoff for a college) and our team will review and update it promptly.
Yes. CareerPal is fully responsive and works on any device with a modern browser — phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. For the best mobile experience, install it as a web app (PWA) from your browser menu — no app store needed.
